Veronica's experience with Wicked G was proof of his nastiness. As he and 2shade freaked out her and Mimi before, as well as when she went to the haunted house with Gamzee. Veronica was extremely surprised when she found the two Gengars in her possession, and when she found that Gamzee was gone. But, just because she was scared of them didn't mean she was just going to abandon them. Besides, the two like Veronica! And her other Ghost Pokémon like them too, especially Uirusu.
