Info: Veronica surely got off to a rocky start when she got her starter. Ako is a practical joker, first and foremost. She loves to have fun, fly around, and generally do things now that she's been chosen as a starter Pokémon. And now that she's been released from her pokeball, the fun simply wont stop! Her first joke was to steal Roni's Pokegear and put it up in a tree for her to retrieve.
She'll often laugh at her trainer, mostly when something embarrassing or funny happens to her. Although, she does have her limits, and doesn't want to see anything too terrible happen. Besides, she'll always travel at her trainer's side, not leaving for any extended periods. Despite the difference between them, the Pokémon and her trainer have managed to make a bond that's incredibly strong, despite the troubles they regularly have.
And now that she's evolved, thanks to Juniper Woods, Ako is much bigger than before, and can mess with Roni even more. Though, an affectionate side has developed as well. Ako almost seems to mother Veronica now, teasing her whenever they do things together.

Info: The first Pokémon Veronica has ever caught on her own! After making her way to Cherrygrove for the first time, Veronica did a bit of searching in the next route and happened across a Caterpie. The Caterpie offered... very little resistance to being caught, as she had been eating at the time. After being caught, Mim immediately took to Veronica. She gave her some food and now the bug rides on her shoulder, content to watch as life passes by.
Then, for a brief time, Mim was a Metapod. Given her new immobility, Veronica had to carry her in her arms everywhere they went. That ended fairly quickly when she evolved into a Butterfree, Veronica's first fully evolved pokemon. Mim is generally more relaxed than the other Pokémon in Veronica's roster. She doesn't get along well with Ako because of this reason, but she does like many of Veronica's new pokemon.

Info: Hatched from an egg given to Veronica free of charge from Juniper Woods, Kawa looks at life through large, confused eyes. Each day was a new adventure for the tiny Eevee, when she wasn't falling asleep that is. She often falls asleep in her trainer's arms, forcing Veronica to carry her around. It's not something she ever complains about, mind you, finding it pretty adorable. And, the bodyguard is happy to see that her Pokémon is so interested in things. She's not sure if she is very suited for battle though.
Veronica's other Pokémon seem to like her too, especially Paku. The two of them can be likened a bit to family.
Over time, Veronica showered her Eevee with love, and pokepuffs. Lots of pokepuffs. Which is why, during on cold day out in Goldenrod, Eevee suddenly evolved into a Sylveon! complete with flesh ribbons! Veronica is mildly weirded out by this, but it's okay.

Info: Veronica never expected to be shown kindness, especially so soon into her Pokémon Adventure. She wasn't very used to people being nice to her at all. But, it turns out she's found a friend (???) in Juniper Woods, who not only gave her the Eevee egg she asked for, for free, she added a Growlithe egg without noting so.
She'd pay Juniper back, probably after catching a Pokémon for her.
A week after getting it, and handling the eggs with as much care as she could, Paku was the first one to hatch. Named after another dog Veronica had once, Paku was already running around and doing things the moment he hatched. Rambunctious and full of life, he showed a ton of love for his owner, in the form of licks and sudden cuddles, but he's a bit too energetic for Veronica. He also wants to fight already, even though he's considerably weaker than Veronica's other Pokémon. So, she'll have to train him quickly so he doesn't hurt himself. He's extremely loyal to her though, and wont let anything happen to her on his watch.
And now that Veronica's saved enough money to buy a firestone for her loyal doggy, Paku is a full grown Arcanine. He still seems to think that he's the lapdog he used to be, even though he's big enough for his trainer to ride, and takes pleasure in pouncing on his trainer and knocking her down to assault her with face licks.
Poor Veronica never stood a chance.

Info: For all that Veronica's seen in her lifetime, she'd never actually seen it literally rain cats and dogs. Unfortunately, this place keeps deciding to surprise her, and the first two days of September were spent hiding indoors from the falling Pokémon.
But, Veronica wasn't the kind of person that stayed in one place. So, while she'd been outside, a rainstorm of dog Pokémon started, and although she dodged as best she could, one managed to land right on her back. She was going to have bruises for a week, but the Pokémon was unharmed at least. And the Pokémon seemed to know that, and followed Veronica around, despite her not being captured. In fact, she seemed so stuck up about it, and unwilling to argue with Veronica, that she just gave in and captured her. Another Pokémon for the team, right?
Vivi is somewhat vain, in that way high-class dogs generally are. She can be moody, and wont take no for an answer. She also doesn't seem to get along with Veronica's other Pokémon, wanting to be pampered more than them. But, she still wants to be a part of the team. Perhaps she's lonely?

Info: Veronica never did catch a Noibat of her own on the day they swarmed Violet city. Luckily, Joker and Jimmy caught an entire swarm of them, and tried to keep them in a hotel room too. When it was brought up that she didn't have one, Joker offered to give her one, which she accepted.
Noizu is a bit bigger than other Noibat, something that makes the Pokémon very bashful in certain situations. More than once, Veronica has had to stop to remove him from her cloak. He's a pokemon that has to get to know you before he can fully trust you. Despite this hang-up, Noizu will not back down from a fight. He hates losing with a passion and will keep trying no until he's fainted.

Due to the course, he has become a very able bodied student, learning from all of Veronica's teachings to be as good as her.

Info: The mere idea of ghosts actually existing sent shivers down Veronica's spine. But, somehow, Anna had talked Veronica into catching one of the mysterious new Pokémon that were wandering around Violet city.
To be honest, Ushin still managed to freak Veronica out at times, but he wasn't trying. He just wanted to let his trainer know he liked her. He had a very gently nature, giving his trainer hugs and being nice to the other Pokémon in her possession. He was a rather big Phantump as well, certainly not a runt of the litter, and clearly able to take a few hits. As apprehensive as Veronica was, maybe taking this Pokémon was a good idea.

Info: Veronica already likes this Pokémon, even if it's some sort of floating sword. She was elated to hear that there were actual weapons around, other than Pokémon. But, of course, the weapons turned out to also be Pokémon. She'll take it, anyways. Probably shouldn't be swinging it around by it's head though, it doesn't like that.
Ronin, aptly named, has a lot of spirit. He's totally raring to fight alongside his new trainer, and Veronica shows him a lot of compassion for it. But, he does have a mischievous side, and that has earned him some points with Ako, and the two have become a bit of a practical joke duo.

Well, Veronica doesn't, but she's still stuck with Kyu after a conversation told her that Zubat are apparently useful after all, and not worthless pests that live in caves.

This particular Zubat, whom Veronica personally punched in the face before punching it with a pokeball (Metaphorically speaking, of course).
Kyu is pretty darn stubborn, because he's still choosing to mess with his trainer when he's around her. Though, that might just mean he's pretty stupid, who knows. At least he's fighting for Veronica now, instead of against.

Info: Of the many things Veronica saw during her first days in Goldenrod city, meeting Uirusu was always going to stick out in her memory as the most... eventful.
She'd been in one of the city's department stores, looking at some electronics for who knows what reason. She wasn't expecting a toaster to pop out at her and nearly hit her in the head. Thankfully, she dealt with it. Unfortunately, she had to pay for the damages. There wasn't even an attempt to capture the quirky Rotom, it had simply decided to slip into one of her pokeballs, which she discovered later when it possessed her Pokegear.
Another practical joker, like Ako. Uirusu loves to make its home in Veronica's equipment and jump out at her, giving her quite the scare. The Rotom does seem to back off sometimes though. Maybe because Veronica hasn't tried to get rid of it? It seems to like its new trainer, at least, and shows it in its own, special way.

Info: Originally caught by Gamzee Makara in Sprout tower, along with his sister, 2shade, Wicked G is more "brains" of the ghost pair; cunning and tricky, he could get a few nasty ideas that can turn a trick more malicious and horror movie-like with no regrets.
Veronica's experience with Wicked G was proof of his nastiness. As he and 2shade freaked out her and Mimi before, as well as when she went to the haunted house with Gamzee. Veronica was extremely surprised when she found the two Gengars in her possession, and when she found that Gamzee was gone. But, just because she was scared of them didn't mean she was just going to abandon them.
Besides, the two like Veronica! And her other Ghost Pokémon like them too, especially Uirusu. And of course Wicked G continued his pranks and tricks on Veronica. She'd just have to endure it.

Info: Originally caught by Gamzee Makara in Sprout tower, along with her brother, Wicked G, 2shade acts as an opposite balance to her other half, being carefree and silly, acting more on a funny bone impulse than with thought, and looking for tricks and laughs on a more lighthearted note. She likes to wear hairclips (specifically a flower clip near what should be her ear.) In all honesty, 2shade is much nicer, and a bit more trustworthy than her brother.
And Veronica's can attest to that. As when her and Mimi were freaked out by the first time they pranked them, 2shade had been the one to offer an apology and a hug. Veronica was extremely surprised when she found the two Gengars in her possession, and when she found that Gamzee was gone. But, just because she was scared of them didn't mean she was just going to abandon them.
Veronica and 2shade get along very well, actually. 2shade likes to play with Veronica's hair, putting hairclips and other accessories in it. And Veronica lets her, since it's pretty nice actually? They can be cuties together!

Info: On Christmas morning, Veronica woke up to find herself with one more Pokemon then before. There was no way for her to know where the egg came from, and everyone she asked said the same. So, she might as well take care of it, right? It seemed to be meant for her.
Weeks passed, and Veronica named the egg "Tamago", which means "Egg" of course. She was going to come up with a better name, but by the time it hatched, she had come accustomed to it. Oh well!
Tamago is a serious ball of purple-pinkish energy. She loves to follow her trainer, although she tends to trip and fall, she always gets back up (with some help). She is determined, though! She will help her trainer to the best of her abilities!

Info: Just when Veronica thought she wouldn't get any more ghosts... she got another ghost. This was was from Botan, her boss at Honeyed Soul.
Nin quickly hatched and joined Veronica's bushel of baby pokes. Wicked G and 2shade took to her the quickest, and self-named themselves her guardians. The timid little ghost likes to attach herself to Veronica, though, seeing as she's her mother, so to speak. That'll end well...
